The University of Waterloo Formula Hybrid team is the newest and most innovative team at the University. An open wheel racecar, designed with the pinnacle of engineering excellence and efficiency in mind, is annually given the opportunity to compete on the world stage against other schools from America, Europe, and Asia. With the automotive industry experiencing a paradigm shift into obtaining performance through efficiency, the Waterloo Formula Hybrid team uses the latest high voltage lithium polymer technology to accomplish this goal.
