Congratulations, Engineering! The results from finance are in and have been processed. Overall WEEF participation for the Spring 2011 term is an amazing 80%! See the attached chart for a breakdown by class. Your support goes a long way to ensure that WEEF can continue to make a meaningful impact on our students every term. Through our combined support of the foundation, we are able to fund many high-impact projects today and ensure that a growing amount of resources will be available for UW Engineers for years to come. As we approach our $10 million milestone, the effect of the contributions of students over the past twenty years is becoming increasingly visible. The future is looking brighter than ever!

Remember, WEEF is operated completely by students. $60,000 in funding is available this term for allocation, and proposals are due June 22nd. Proposal presentations for Funding Council will take place on June 27th and 28th at 5:30 pm. This will be followed by a Funding Council meeting for allocation decisions on June 30th at 5:30pm. The WEEF Board of Directors will then meet in July to finalize allocations.

With Funding Council meetings just around the corner, please ensure that your class is represented so that you have a say in how the $60,000 is allocated. We will be making a lot of tough decisions, so your input is crucial.
