HELLLLOOOOOOO ENGSOC

A couple of quick notes!

Come to the EngSoc Council meeting #4 for our donations meeting! It’s tonight, June 22nd, at 5:30 pm in CPH 3607. You get to hear a bunch of great student teams and clubs talk about why they need money, and you could also get some free food!

Also this Saturday, June 25th is JOINT JOINT COUNCILS WITH COUNCILS!!! There are a bunch of motions being passed involving constitution and policy manual changes at this meeting, but the one that pertains to my position the most is the capital expenditure committee motion. This is to finish-off my goal of forming a decision-making body to look over our capital expenditures and collect input from all members of the society to better represent its needs. It will make the system much more formal and will help with the long-term vision of the society from a spending standpoint. Come out on Saturday if you want to hear more about it and want to have a chance to be a part of the committee.

As I said before, Coverall Day will be coming soon. I just need to get out of midterms! Some preview highlights:

  • They will have the word “Engineering” written down the leg
  • The EngSoc logo will be printed on the back
  • And they can be CUSTOMIZED WITH WHATEVER ELSE YOU WANT TO WRITE

Finally, I’d like to congratulate our presidential candidates on a great campaign. And good luck to Leah, our newly elected EngSoc president, for the next 16 months.

GOOOOODDDBYYYYYYYE ENGSOC
