Hey Everyone! Hope that you all had an awesome co-op term, and are looking forward to being back on campus this spring! The weather is great, and it’s going to be an awesome term, including some cool finance related stuff!
Budgets: All directors should be working on their budgets NOW! They are due on May 24 at the latest, and if you get them in sooner then I will be very happy. The EngSoc budget for the term will be voted on at EngSoc Meetting #2 (May 29), and will be made available on the EngSoc website prior to this date. I encourage everyone to take a look at the proposed budget, and contact me with any questions or concerns that you may have.
Novelties IS NOW OPEN! Check it out in CPH Foyer from 11:30-1:30 Monday to Friday to get your fix of EngSoc hoodies, t-shirts, patches, glassware, and much more swag. New this term, for every $1 you spend in Novelties, your class will recieve 1 P**5 point! Get your class looking awesome with some cool Waterloo Engineering stuff. Be sure to keep an eye out for Coverall Day, which will be in the next few weeks.
Sponsorship Request Form: I will be working on updating the sponsorship request form to make it easier for student teams and groups to understand what we are looking for from them, and so the process is clearer when they are requesting sponsorship.
Student Deals Program: We currently have two awesome directors working on developing the new EngSoc Student Deals Program that will allow you to save at some of your favourite places around campus for being an Engineering Society member. It is still in the very early stages, but keep a look out for some development in the upcoming months!
