So Long, and Thanks for All the Patches

Note: This article is hosted here for archival purposes only. It does not necessarily represent the values of the Iron Warrior or Waterloo Engineering Society in the present day.

This is my final report as your VP Finance. It has been a great 16 months, and I would like to thank all of you for supporting my love of patches, covies, and everything else I forced upon you the past two terms. Coverall day was awesome this term, and we sold over 125 pairs of coveralls. Novelties has a ton of awesome patch designs now, and a bunch of new items for sale. The Society has new governing documents, and I will be continuing on my work of creating a better policy manual. As well, the ECIF Committee met last week, and the proposed allocations for the term are getting (got) ratified today. I am also still in the midst of transitioning your new VP Finance, Kevin McNamara, and I wish him the best of luck for his upcoming term. I am sure he will do a great job. Finally, everyone should come out to the Engineering Society meeting tonight in POETS, where, in addition to everything else we are doing; we will be doing the first run of our new Volunteer Appreciation initiative. We have tons of awesome prizes to raffle off, so if you ever volunteered at an EngSoc event, or were a director, be sure to be there. Thank you, and do not worry, the patches will continue to flow!
