The Midnight Sun Solar Car team is a student team which designs, manufactures, and races solar-electric vehicles. Midnight Sun’s membership spans the undergraduate level across all of UW’s six faculties. Our diverse team offers challenging work in the mechanical, electrical, and business disciplines, with a project cycle that spans across multiple years. Midnight Sun is open to all new members who are interested in contributing to the project. The team will be entering the manufacturing phase in the fall, which is a great opportunity for students to gain hands on experience with building a full sized electric vehicle.
