EngSoc has voted to increase the incidental The Iron Warrior fee by 200% to cover increased expenses incurred by the EIC, including new chairs from IKEA, air conditioners, milk, and pizzas with pineapple. This change will take place immediately. The outstanding balance can be viewed on Quest, under Finances.
Students who do not pay their outstanding balance will not be able to take their final exams until the fee has been paid.
Because of the end-term fee hike, a protest was held in the Engineering courtyard on July 24, 2013, to little success.
