Well hello again, long time no read! (YOU)

In case you forgot, my name is David Birnbaum, and I will be your president for the next 16 months. I would like to start by saying how excited I am to work with my amazing team of VPs over the next 16 months. (SHOULD)

We will be ratifying our speaker and commissioners for the Summer 2013 term tonight at the Engineering Society meeting at 6 PM in POETS, so be sure to come out. The TOOL will also be there, for my team and I to be sworn in!!!!!!!!!!!! (VISIT)

Directorships should be mostly chosen, but I am sure that there are still some open. So check out the
online application form ASAP!!!! (ME)

I plan on getting to work for you all right away. I have a meeting with the Dean tomorrow to talk about a bunch of the ideas I want to start putting in place, and I will be keeping myself very busy over the co-op term. On the list of what I will be working on is creating the new Policy manual, which I hope to have in place by Joint Council 2013, implementing General Meetings for the Society, changing the way the elections for the Engineering Senator are done, starting the process of creating the textbook library, and
much more. That is just a small sample of what my team plans to accomplish in the next 16 months, but we want to hear your ideas as well. (OUTSIDE)

If you have anything at all that you would like my team or I to work on for the Engineering Society,
please do not hesitate to contact us. I can be reached at president.a@engsoc.uwaterloo.ca with all
questions and comments. (POETS)

We will hopefully be keeping you updated over the coop term, and really look forward to seeing you all
in the summer! (TODAY [Wednesday])

Good luck on your exams, and have a great co-op term. (BRING)

David Birnbaum (WATER)
