Semi formal was a success! The night was filled with dancing, delicious desserts and reminiscing about old times! The desserts were a major hit – who knew that free food attracted university students? There was a point where no one was on the dance floor and everyone was mingling over mini strudels and cheese. Albeit the night started off slowly, it turned out to be amazing. People dressed up for the theme and the winners for the best costumes were well deserved. From kimonos to Ukrainian dancers the costumes were plentiful. One “lad” even dressed as a Scot, with a kilt and tie to finish off the look.

However the night would not be complete without “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey, except the DJ didn’t have it. So we promptly made him YouTube it and it didn’t matter that there was no earthshaking bass and no outstanding sound quality. The night simply ended with YouTubing a good song and chilling with good people and having a grand ol’ time.
