Re: The USA: The Last Pillar of Freedom

As Editor-in-Chief, it is my final say as to what content is and what content is not published. As a newspaper that is mandated to both present a forum for discussion and represent the opinion of the Engineering Society, it can be difficult to draw the line between the opinion of a student and the opinion of the newspaper. The article from Volume 33 Issue 2, entitled The USA: The Last Pillar of Freedom stepped over this line. Although the article was based on factual information, it presented the information in an unfair and biased way. It is of the opinion of The Iron Warrior that all countries mentioned in the article have had both highs and lows, and that no country mentioned is specifically better than the others.
