Hello beautiful people!

We are Brock Kopp, Liz Celentano, Anjali Gopal and Graeme Scott and we are very thrilled to be your EngFOC 2012 team. Words literally cannot describe how excited we are, so hopefully this onomatopoeia can: RAAAWWBOOMKAPOWWEEEEEEEBANG!
We will be working very hard over the next 10 months to make sure that Orientation Week 2012 is going to be amaaaaazing for the incoming class of 2017.

Before we go any further, let us ask you a few questions:

Did you love YOUR orientation week? (We’re lookin’ at you, class of 2016!)
Did you HATE your orientation week and have ideas to make it better?
Did you participate as a leader before, and want to do it again?

If you answered “yes!” to any of those questions, then we want you! Putting on a great Orientation Week is something that we can’t do alone, so we’re asking for your (yes, your) help. We’re looking for both new and returning leaders to fill the roles of Big, Huge, EDCOM, and Media Guru.

Applications for B-Soc leaders will be out before the end of this week, so keep your heads up! Any leaders applying for the role of Huge, EDCOM, or Media Guru will have to do an interview on the weekend of December 3rd/4th, a sign up sheet will be posted outside the Orifice door. For any students on co-op for both fall and winter terms, we will be conducting Skype interviews in the Winter term if you are unable to make it to Waterloo. Applications will be closing November 30th at 11:55pm.

We will be sending out the link via electronic mail (or email for those well versed in computer speak) very soon. For more information on the various leadership positions and opportunities, available to you feel free to take a look at our website: http://www.eng.uwaterloo.ca/~foc and if you have any other questions for us feel free to email us at engfoc2012@gmail.com and we will get back to you ASAP.

We look forward to getting the chance to work with all of you to make Orientation Week 2012 a superfantasticamazingtime. Being a leader is a great way to get involved, meet new people, and have mad fun, so we hope you will apply!

Hip hip hooray!
