EngSoc Council Meeting Summaries

The first Engineering Society Council Meeting of the term took place on Wednesday, September 17. The meeting had over 95 people in attendance. A number of elections took place to fill the A-Society At-Large seats on the Board of Directors, elect a Chief Returning Officer to run the upcoming E7 Referendum Vote, and fill committee seats for the Leadership Awards Committee, Teaching Awards Committee, and Executive Review Committee. In addition to the elections, the Engineering Society budget for the term was passed.

This past Wednesday was the second meeting of term. There were a number of items on the agenda, including an update from the Feds Executive on their initiatives, and the first reading of a motion related to the EngSoc Executive votes on our council. The sponsorship committee for the term was elected, along with the Chief Feedback Officer, which is a role that gathers feedback from students related to the Engineering Society.
